Dante Boon music cames later than my usual discoveries into my repertoire.
It was only later after my crazy Night of Minimal Piano concerts that Dante's name was popping up quite often if you were (like me) interested in the very curious (and top interesting) Wandelweiser group.
Since then, I was really looking forward performing his music. And of course, recording it was one of my desire for my own Serie !

As a pianist, Boon knows how to make the piano sings and how to make it do unusual sounds, with many liberties given to the musician.
His music is really meditative, my favorite goes to Years, numbers, as I really entered into an almost transe like moment.

I really hope you will enjoy this album ! Do not hesitate to share it with your friends, and also to tell me your thoughts and feedback !

La musique de Dante Boon est arrivée dans mon répertoire bien plus tard que mes découvertes.
C'est bien après mes concerts fous Night of Minimal Piano, que le nom de Dante tournait souvent - si vous étiez (comme moi) intéressé par le très curieux (et très intéressant) groupe Wandelweiser.
Et depuis, j’avais vraiment hâte d’interpréter sa musique. Et bien sûr, l’enregistrer faisait partie de mes désirs pour ma propre série !

En tant que pianiste, Boon sait faire chanter le piano et lui faire émettre des sons insolites, avec de nombreuses libertés laissées au musicien.
Sa musique est vraiment méditative, ma préférée est Years, Numbers, en l'enregistrant j'étais presque presque entré en transe.

J'espère vraiment que vous apprécierez cet album ! N'hésitez pas à le partager avec vos amis, et aussi à me faire part de vos impressions et retours !
