As almost all my last Dapnom & A.E.P. releases, this one was cursed.
While i was with the Hell Militia teamn, I exchanged a great deal with Meynach, and I told him how much I thought that he had much more to offer than "only" his cult band Mutiilation. His other project Satanicum Tenebrare (ST) showed signs of a more avant-garde artist than Mutiilation, and I pushed him to develop in this way.
As the great american label The Ajna Offensive was a great supporter of Dapnom, this label agreed to do something "very special" for the official return of ST on a Dapnom split. With a huge promo, very special Lps .... yes very big !
But .... things did not turned it out as we could plan.
Meynach tracks composed for this split did not please the label, and .... Meynach asked to change the band name with another name that was the very same that a terrible Us obscure punk band.
As Meynach did not want to change his choice, Ajna was pissed off and dropped the project (and cut contact with me for more than a decade).
As I was not very happy, I told Meynach that we were to find another label. We then did a dozen of promo tape that i sent to the labels i was in touch with (the 90's style artwork was made during a very wild party, by Meynach with some low quality printed pictures a cisor and glue !).
I got no feedback (with the exeption of Cold Spring who loved my part, but hated ST part, saying it was some kind of "drunk Claude François").
Dozen of months later, an Australian label who released some re-re-re-release of Mutiilation Lps agreed to release it on LP (under the name of Dapnom / Larv split) and we worked on the fantastic artwork you can see here.
But ..... as i got absolutely no news from the label, one day the label told me that Meynach did not want to release it anymore.
I was very pissed off by this... but my piano career was going greater and greater and I simply dropped this.
Months later, a south american label was able to get a copy of the promo tape and wanted to release it. I told him that I did not care anymore as i really thought this project was cursed. I also told him that this release would never be official as Meynach changed his mind about it.
This is the very first time those crazy 3 tracks are officially released !
In it you can really feel the influance from the Diapsiquir discarded track , as there is a use of the piano and many other influances.

Mais .... les choses ne se sont pas passées comme nous pouvions l'imaginer.
Les morceaux de Meynach composés pour ce split n'ont pas plu au label, et .... Meynach a demandé de changer le nom du groupe avec un autre nom qui était exactement le même qu'un terrible groupe de punk américain obscur.
Comme Meynach ne voulait pas changer son choix, Ajna était énervée et a abandonné le projet (et a coupé le contact avec moi pendant plus d'une décennie).
Comme je n'étais pas très content, j'ai dit à Meynach que nous devions trouver un autre label. Nous avons ensuite fait une douzaine de bandes promo que j'ai envoyées aux labels avec lesquels j'étais en contact (l'artwork style années 90 a été réalisé lors d'une soirée très sauvage, par Meynach avec des photos imprimées de mauvaise qualité au ciseau et à la colle !).
Je n'ai eu aucun retour (à l'exception de Cold Spring qui adorait ma partie, mais détestait la partie ST, disant que c'était une sorte de "Claude François bourré").
Une dizaine de mois plus tard, un label australien qui a sorti une ré-ré-réédition de Mutiilation Lps a accepté de le sortir en LP (sous le nom de Dapnom / Larv split) et nous avons travaillé sur l'artwork fantastique que vous pouvez voir ici.
Mais ..... comme je n'avais absolument aucune nouvelle du label, un jour le label m'a dit que Meynach ne voulait plus le sortir.
J'étais très énervé par ça, mais ma carrière de pianiste allait tellement bien que j'ai simplement tout laissé tomber.
Des mois plus tard, un label sud-américain a pu obtenir une copie de la cassette promotionnelle et a voulu la sortir. Je lui ai dit que je n'en avais plus rien à faire, mais que sa sortie ne serait jamais officielle car Meynach avait changé d'avis pour ce projet.
C'est la toute première fois que ces 3 titres fous sortent officiellement !
On y sent vraiment l'influence de la piste abandonnée de Diapsiquir, car il y a une utilisation du piano et de nombreuses autres influences.
